Mendocino Ballet will present” Dance Classics” and “The Wizard of Oz” on Saturday, June 3 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, June 4 at 2:00 pm at Ukiah High School.

“Dance Classics” will feature students performing Classical and Contemporary Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. Highlights include excerpts from the third act of “Napoli”, a lively selection of dances based on original choreography of Danish ballet master and choreographer August Bournonville, performed by members of the Mendocino Ballet Company and Corps dancers, and “Chance Encounters”, a Contemporary Ballet choreographed by Artistic Director, Trudy McCreanor, for the Regional Dance America/Pacific Festival in Reno, NV this past Spring. Other dances include those performed by young dancers in our recreational program and the Art of Classical Ballet program. More information is included in the poster below.
